1-year obligatory Slovenian guarantee

1-year obligatory Slovenian guarantee

In Slovenia, in addition to the two-year legal guarantee of conformity for goods, a one-year conformity guarantee is also set forth for certain types of goods, which manufacturers must issue for so-called "technical goods." A list of goods, for which manufacturers must issue a one-year guarantee, is laid down in the Rules (available only in Slovene).

In addition to a letter of guarantee, an assembly manual, and a list of authorised service centres, manufacturers shall provide consumers with free of charge repair within the warranty period, at authorised service centres, with which they entered into an agreement on the supply of spare parts. Furthermore, they shall provide consumers with repair, the maintenance of goods, spare parts, and supplementary devices (for payment) at least three years after the expiration of the warranty period.
