The new website "Europe for Patients" provides information about commonly quite complicated policies and measures from the field of health care in the EU in an uncomplicated and easily understandable way. The website is available in 22 languages and combines up-to-date information about the initiatives with regard to healthcare policies and policies regarding patients, which are prepared by the European Commission.
The common goal of these initiatives is a better health care for everyone in Europe and they concern various fields, including: patient safety, rare diseases, donation and transplants of organs, cancer transplantation, flu vaccinations, the vaccination of children, mental health, Alzheimer's disease and other kinds of dementia, as well as a wise use of antibiotics.
