If the product is flawless, the seller is not obliged to replace it or reimburse you. However, the sellers usually replace it or even reimburse consumer as a sign of good business practice.
In case of distance selling or sellling out of business premises, the consumer has the right to return the product and demand reimbursement within a certain period, even if the product is flawless. However, there are certain exceptions (e.g. travel packages).
We recommend to the consumers to try to get a written statement from the seller upon purchase that he is willing to replace the product or reimburse you in case you change your mind and want to return it later.
