Kampanja "5 pravic potrošnikov, ki bi jih morali poznati"

consumer-right-pralni strojEvropski potrošniški center Slovenija se je s 15. septembrom 2014 aktivno vključil v kampanjo, ki poteka na evropski ravni, in je namenjena ozaveščanju potrošnikov, kot tudi podjetij, o pravicah, ki jih imajo potrošniki pri nakupovanju blaga in storitev v Evropski uniji.

Kampanja sovpada z junija letos uveljavljeno Direktivo o pravicah potrošnikov, ki pomeni korak naprej pri prizadevanju za čim bolj usklajeno zakonodajo na področju varstva potrošnikov med državami članicami, da bi imeli potrošniki, ne glede na to, v kateri državi članici nakupujejo, povsod enake pravice oziroma bi bili deležni enake ravni varstva. Navedena kampanja zato seznanja tudi z nekaterimi novostmi, ki jih prinaša ta direktiva, kot je enoten 14-dnevni rok za uveljavljanje pravice do odstopa od pogodbe, sklenjene na daljavo (npr. po spletu) ali izven poslovnih prostorov.

Poleg tega kampanja opozarja potrošnike na pravico do natančnih in podrobnih informacij, ki jim omogočajo ustrezno izbiro ter na pravice, ki jih imajo v primeru, da so kupili blago z napako. Poleg tega se želi s kampanjo povečati zavedanje med potrošniki o možnostih, ki jih nudi Evropski postopek v sporih majhne vrednosti, ki ga potrošniki lahko uporabijo, v kolikor sami ali s pomočjo EPC ne morejo rešiti težave s podjetjem in jim tako preostane samo še sodna pot. In nenazadnje, s kampanjo želimo na pomen spoštovanja pravic potrošnikov, opozoriti tudi podjetja.

ECC-Net wants to evaluate the benefits of these extended warranties which can often be quite expensive for consumers. Therefore, we invite you to share your
experiences and to participate at this short survey.

Bought something on holiday that became defective shortly afterwards? Trouble with rental cars or hotel accommodation booked from home? Delayed plane on the return flight? In case the holiday turns out differently than planned you should know what to do to exercise your rights. Even better: You can also say it!

Especially for the summer holidays the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) launches a unique mobile application: the ECC-Net: Travel App. It is an indispensable travel companion inside the European Union as well as in Iceland and Norway: the application helps consumers to cope with difficult situations on their holiday abroad and to express their consumer rights in the language of the destination country. The ECC-Net: Travel App provides legal knowledge and language support in 23 EU languages plus Norwegian and Icelandic.

The different topics are: retail purchases, car rental, hotel accommodation, medical treatment, air and rail transport as well as bus and marine travel.

A section with useful information offers important phone numbers and contact details for every day emergencies.The app is free of charge and works offline to avoid the roaming trap. It is available for mobile devices with iOS, Android and Microsoft Windows operating systems and can be downloaded here:

Ministrstvo opozarja pred nakupi ponarejenega blaga

Ministrstvo za gospodarski razvoj in tehnologijo na svoji spletni strani opozarja potrošnike pred spletnim nakupom ponarejenega blaga nekaterih blagovnih znamk, saj so v zadnjem času prejeli več vprašanj potrošnikov povezanih s tem. Več informacij je dostopnih na spletni strani ministstva.
